OMNI’s commitment to transforming the cafe community for people led to a distinctive brand identity that stands out with its bold, friendly, fun, and vibrant design. This unique visual approach, driven by a passion for the environment and animals, sets OMNI apart from typical vegan cafes and aligns perfectly with the company’s values.
To achieve this distinctive identity, a comprehensive situational and competitor analysis was conducted. This research informed the development of a brand identity that breaks away from the norm. The chosen colours, typography, and icons highlight OMNI’s unique approach, ensuring the brand is memorable and engaging, and makes a bold statement in the cafe scene.

The creation of the OMNI brand began with a deep dive into understanding its core identity, starting with its mission and vision.
The initial step was a reflection on current market trends and a thorough analysis of direct and indirect competitors, specifically vegan cafés in the area. This research uncovered the need for a more diverse and distinctive offering—one that not only stood out visually but also embraced transparency about its values and passion for plant-based living.
From this analysis, the next phase involved insight gathering, concept sketches, and design research. I explored how colour, typography, and iconography could help OMNI establish a distinct look aligned with its goals. The plant mark symbolises not only vegan ideologies but also OMNI’s approachable, friendly nature, with the plant resembling a smile. This move was a conscious deviation from the typical handwritten letterforms seen in many vegan cafés, aiming to make OMNI unique.
With the logo in place, colour selection became a critical step. The chosen palette reflected loyalty, food, and nature, while its vibrant hues communicated OMNI’s desire to stand out, be seen, and engage with its community. Typography was carefully chosen to harmonise these elements, enhancing the brand's voice and clarity.
Finally, custom icons and design elements were crafted, tying together the overall brand identity and providing a cohesive visual language for assets like menus and marketing materials.
OMNI emerged as a brand that captured attention and stayed true to its core values.
